Years of SLED procurement data
There is no API for State & Local procurement.
We built one.
GovSpend has spent 12 years building direct relationships with government agencies to collect, store, and refresh SLED procurement data. This is not data scraped from the web. It comes from the source.
291,000 agencies. One living record for each.
Our MAI is the backbone of GovSpend. Every dataset we offer is a lens into the same agency relationships: spending, contacts, bids, contracts, meetings. When we add data, we enrich the agency profile. When an agency changes, the profile updates. It is not a snapshot. It is a living record built over 12 years of direct engagement.
Why our data is different
Most procurement data lives at the surface.
Competitors show you what is already visible online. GovSpend stores data collected directly from agency relationships. There is a small visible layer of public procurement data, and then there is everything underneath it. This is where we operate.
Five datasets. One agency relationship.
Five datasets. One agency relationship.
Each module is a different view into what GovSpend knows about the same 291,000 agencies. The data does not live in silos. It all connects back to the Master Agency Index.

Connect to GovSpend’s document repository and spend database in real time. Internal teams have used the MCP to pull and analyze budget documents for entire cities and counties in minutes — work that used to take days.
What you can do
- 1Ping the MCP against GovSpend’s document repository to surface spend insights from budget docs, contracts, and RFPs
- 2Query active contract data by agency, vendor, industry, or dollar threshold via the API
- 3Feed continuously refreshed data directly into your own models, platforms, or workflows
