Every January, we bring the GovSpend team together for GovSpend Gathers. It’s a moment to step back from execution, a time for reflection on the year behind us, and a chance to get aligned on what matters most in the year ahead. Our 2026 Gathers, held last week at our headquarters in Boca Raton, FL, was the most important we’ve had to date.
Why? Because the public sector market is changing quickly, and so are the expectations of the organizations we serve. Over two focused days, we reviewed the accomplishments of 2025, recognized many of the individuals who made it happen, and aligned on how GovSpend will continue to help our customers discover, pursue, and win more public sector opportunities in 2026 and beyond.
Looking Back: A Strong 2025 Foundation
Before looking ahead, we took the time to reflect on the progress we made in 2025. The takeaway was clear: when we stay focused on customer value, momentum follows.
Data has always been at the core of GovSpend, and 2025 was a year of meaningful expansion. Our teams:
- Expanded coverage across agencies, bids, contracts, meetings, and contacts
- Surpassed key volume and coverage milestones
- Accelerated automation and AI-driven data sourcing
- Laid the foundation for new, high-impact data capabilities
In parallel, our product and technology teams delivered major improvements across the platform to reduce friction and increase impact for customers. In 2025, we introduced:
- New AI-powered search, chat, and AI Notebook experiences
- Deeper CRM and workflow integrations
- Early foundations for semantic search and more advanced AI-driven insights
Across Marketing, Sales, and Relationship Management, tighter alignment translated into real results. Customers are discovering GovSpend more easily, adopting it more quickly, and using it more consistently across teams. That momentum is a direct result of clearer messaging, better onboarding, and a stronger connection between product capabilities and real-world use cases.
GovSpend Gathers is also a time to recognize the people behind the platform. We celebrated employees who exemplify our core values and those who made outsized contributions in 2025.
For our customers, this matters. Behind every dataset, feature, and enhancement is a team that cares deeply about accuracy, reliability, and delivering value you can trust.

Our 2026 Strategy: Focused on Customer Outcomes
At the center of this year’s Gathers was an updated company vision:
To be the indispensable system of action that powers how organizations discover, pursue, and win opportunities in the public sector marketplace.
Being indispensable means more than providing information. It means delivering insight in context, embedding into daily workflows, and helping customers move from research to action with less effort and better outcomes.
We also aligned on a clear strategy for 2026, grounded in a few core principles and leaning on our strengths. Our depth and breadth of public sector data is our strongest advantage. In 2026, we’ll continue investing where that advantage matters most, while being thoughtful about where we build, partner, or simplify.
During Gathers, teams went deep on our 2026 roadmaps across data, product, and technology. The common thread across every discussion was how we turn GovSpend’s insight into concrete, day-to-day action for our customers. Some of the most important areas of focus included:
Opportunity Dashboard: A New Way to Use GovSpend
For 2026, I am most excited about our upcoming launch of what we’re calling the “Opportunity Dashboard.” This is an entirely new way our customers will interact with GovSpend’s unparalleled data assets. It will help teams move from signal to action with fewer clicks and less noise. This feature delivers bespoke opportunities along with clearer context around why an opportunity matters and what to do next, with better prioritization and tighter connections to contacts, contracts, and historical activity. The end goal is to give teams a faster, more confident way to decide where to spend their time.
Stronger Federal Capabilities
Federal continues to be a strategic focus. In 2026, we’re strengthening federal coverage and usability to make it easier for customers to track opportunities, understand contract vehicles, and navigate an increasingly complex federal landscape. The goal is to bring the same clarity and actionability customers expect from GovSpend in state and local markets to federal workflows as well.
Deeper Integrations and Workflow-Driven Delivery
Customers don’t want to bounce between tools—and they shouldn’t have to. We’re investing heavily in deeper integrations across CRM platforms, collaboration tools like Slack and Copilot, and browser-based workflows. By embedding GovSpend directly into the systems teams already use, we reduce friction and make insight available at the moment decisions are being made.
New Industry and ROI Dashboards
We’re also expanding our industry and ROI dashboards to help customers see the bigger picture. These dashboards are designed to surface market trends, competitive dynamics, and performance indicators that help leaders set strategy, allocate resources, and clearly measure the value GovSpend delivers across their organization.
Across all of this work, the objective is the same: help customers identify opportunities sooner, understand them better, and act on them faster.
Expansion of AI Data Operations and Automation
AI Data Operations is a major investment area for us in 2026. By expanding automation across sourcing, enrichment, and ingestion, we’re able to increase coverage while improving speed and consistency. For customers, this means more complete datasets, faster updates, and less reliance on manual requests, allowing GovSpend to proactively surface the information that matters most.

Looking Ahead
GovSpend Gathers reinforces why we do this work. The public sector market is complex, competitive, and constantly evolving, but it’s full of opportunity for organizations that have the right insight at the right time.
We’re entering 2026 with a clear focus, a strong foundation, and a deep commitment to helping our customers win more public sector business.
Thank you to our customers and partners for continuing to trust GovSpend. We’re excited for what’s ahead.
